NAVITEC Announces Call for Papers for the 9th edition of Event at ESA/ESTEC

The European Space Agency (ESA), the French National Space Center (CNES), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 9th edition of the ESA Workshop on Satellite Navigation Technologies and European Workshop on GNSS Signals and Signal Processing (NAVITEC).

The 9th edition of NAVITEC will be held from December 5-7, 2018 at ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

NAVITEC 2018 provides an open forum for space and terrestrial satellite navigation technology designers, developers, integrators, users, universities and agency representatives. NAVITEC focuses on navigation technologies and techniques leading to significant enhancement of the user performance, enablers for future applications, and solutions for challenging environments.

A dual track path is offered for conference contributions:
• Abstract and Full paper submission for IEEE publication
Full papers will be reviewed for the IEEE proceedings to ensure a high academic quality. They should describe original contributions in this field and have a length of 5,000-8,000 words and shall conform to IEEE Xplore standards. Accepted papers will be for oral presentation at the conference. The full papers should be submitted by June 18 and authors will be notified by August 31. Upon acceptance of notification, authors will be asked to submit an IEEE compliant final paper by October 22 for which instructions will be provided.
• Abstract submission for conference proceedings only
In parallel it is also possible to present and publish work in the conference proceedings only, not with IEEE. They will be selected on the basis of abstracts of 8,00-1,000 words in length. The abstracts shall be submitted by June 18 and authors will be notified by August 31. Accepted abstracts can be either for oral or poster presentation.
