Navitec 2010: The Fifth Anniversary

The European Space Agency (ESA) will hold its fifth Workshop on Satellite Navigation Technology, NAVITEC 2010, from December 8 through 10 at the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The European Space Agency (ESA) will hold its fifth Workshop on Satellite Navigation Technology, NAVITEC 2010, from December 8 through 10 at the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

This year’s theme is “Multi-GNSS Navigation Technologies: The Beginning of a New Age.”

The event will focus on combining GNSS navigation technologies and techniques. Signal design and signal processing, GNSS payload technology impacts and the integration of navigation technologies with communications services will receive particular attention.

Organized by ESA/ESTEC’s Radionavigation Systems and Technique’s Section (TEC-ETN) of the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management, the workshop is an open forum for navigation technology designers, developers, integrators, users, universities and agency representatives to share technical expertise and experience through formal presentations, informal discussions and round tables.

NAVITEC will incorporate the European Workshop on GNSS Signals and Signal procession, in coordination with the French Space Agency, CNES; the German Aerospace Center, DLR; and University Federal Armed Forces Munich, UniBwM.
