The 746th Test Squadron (746 TS) will offer authorized GPS users another testing and training opportunity in its series of JAMFEST events on November 2-6 2009 at  the Stallion Air Field in the northern White Sand Missile Range, near Socorro, New Mexico.

The 746th Test Squadron (746 TS) will offer authorized GPS users another testing and training opportunity in its series of JAMFEST events on November 2-6 2009 at  the Stallion Air Field in the northern White Sand Missile Range, near Socorro, New Mexico.

The events provide a realistic GPS jamming environment for testing GPS-based navigation systems.  Customers include Department of Defense groups, defense contractors, and civil organizations who wish to train personnel in GPS-denied or degraded condition or test prototype advanced anti-jam technologies against realistic threats.

After the test, the 746 TS provided participants with a detailed data package for analyzing the capabilities and limitations of their equipment.

The 746 TS, also known as the Central Inertial and GPS Test Facility, is located on Holloman AFB, adjacent to the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).
